Jen played Liesel, a newly-hired "maid" of Tessie Tomas' character. As the new maid, she hardly cleaned the house, and instead asked to be treated like a princess.

She meets Timothy (Mark Herras), the nephew of Harold (Keempee de Leon), and quickly falls for him.

At the time of her stay, there has been a number of break-ins in the neighbourhood. The community accuses Liesel and Timothy to be the robbers. In the end, Liesel was vindicated. She ends up being a daughter of a rich family who ran away from home.

She did an opening number with Mark Herras and the Starstruck Batch 3 Final 9. The song was "I like You", the so-called new Filipino dance craze. after, Jen also danced with the Starstruck girls.

She was asked by Carmina who she thinks is the cutest out of the Starstruck Batch 3 boys. She answered, "Vivo and Gian." In turn, Vivo and Gian had a chance to give her a kiss each.

They, then, played a game (Trip to Jerusalem?). While they were playing, Jen didn't hesitate to push Mark out of the way to win. To which, Mark complained to the hosts but they just laughed. In the end, Jen and Iwa won.

Jen also sang "For All of My Life".

Mark and her were also interviewed about the status of their relationship. They seem to be in good terms.

A different challenge awaits Dennis Trillio, Mark Herras, Jennylyn Mercado and Ryza Cenon this holiday season. Will they survive the tasks that will be given by Santa Paolo and Snow Queen Ethel?

For Dennis Trillo, may hiling ang kanyang kababata na computer showcase. Matutupad lamang ito kung magagawa ni Dennis ang mga challenge sa loob ng isang araw.

Kinaya niyang sisirin ang 100 CDs. He also went rah-rah-rah as one of the cheerleaders in San Sebastian College. As if it was not enough, he composed and recorded a song for his friend in less than two hours. Ang pinakamatindi sa lahat ay kailangang ayusin ni Dennis ang problema ng kaibigan niya sa pamilya.

For the sake of friendship, our "crush" Dennis will do all these things.

The pretty Ryza Cenon is the barangay captain for a day. Kayanin kaya niya ang maglinis ng mga estero, ang magpapaligo ng mga bata at higit sa lahat ang magturo at magbigay ng kabuhayan sa barangay?

Jennylyn, meanwhile, returned to her family in Leyte to help her less fortunate relatives. Pero ang katumbas ng mga hiling ay mga challenge na hindi niya kalilimutan. Makuha pa kaya niya ang hiling kung kailangan niya bumitin sa San Juanico bridge? Will she be able to make her own "daing"? Will she be able to sell all her "kakainin"?

At least she will be able to join the Pintados festival.

Bagong taon bagong buhay. This is the promise of the challengers not just for themselves, but for the people who are close to their hearts.

Joey finally agrees to F-o-C-Cupid's terms. She will help him if he will turn her back to being a woman. She finds out that she has to help Romeo and Juliet fall in love because she was the reason F-o-C-Cupid's first attempt didn't succeed.

At the gym, Portia is whining that her supposed "papa" is now dating someone else. And that someone else is her own cousin. What's more, she was the one who introduced them to each other. As a result, Portia swears off men completely.

Next, we see Joey at the door or Juliet's apartment with F-o-C-Cupid. She is knocking but no one is answering so she tells him to sneak a peek at the window to see if someone's home. To his surprise, he sees Juliet unconscious beside an opened bottle of pills. He tells Joey this, and they come to the conclusion that Juliet has committer suicide. Joey forces the door open. And while screaming at Cupid, Juliet finally wakes up. She informs Joey that she didn't attempt to commit suicide, the pills on her table are simply vitamin pills. She finally recognizes Joey as the one who helped her when someone tried to rob her. Joey invites her out, and she accepts.

Meanwhile, Portia is using the threadmill at the gym. Jonard sneaks up beside her,and Portia tries to ignore him, but to no avail. He asks her about her cousin's boyfriend. Kris comes in, and Portia blames him for telling Jonard about her recent dating disaster. Kris apologizes. Jonard continues to tease Portia about her cousin for a few minutes. But she informs him that she's not affected because she isn't interested in dating anymore. Kris, then, asks if she's turned into a man-hater like Joey. Speaking of Joey, Kris confides in Portia that he saw Joey talking to herself yesterday. They conclude that she's becoming weirder and weirder each day. Portia says that it's probably in the genes because Joey's cousin (Jonard) is weird himself.

On Joey's end, we see her with Juliet and Cupid at an outdoor restaurant where Romeo apparently eats lunch everyday. When Juliet sees Romeo, she attacks him. Joey tries to explain the situation to the two but it only made matters worse. Migs, who happens to be eating at the restaurant, intervenes and offers to help Joey. Migs and Joey succeed not only in smoothening out the situation but also in creating sparks between the two namesakes of Shakespeare's ill-fated couple.

Migs takes advantage of Joey's gratitude by asking her to lunch. He finally convinces her to go with him after he tells her that he has to pay for it since he helped her.

During their lunch, the two gets to know each other more. Migs also hints at his interest to Joey by describing his ideal woman as a gymaholic tsinita with long hair. Joey asks him about his job and why he moved to the area. Migs is visibly shaken by the questions so he gives her very vague answers.

The next day, Portia notices a change in Joey - she seems to be happier. Cupid (who is walking alongside the girls) teases Joey about her lunch date with Migs. Joey denies that it was not a date. And of course, Portia can't see Cupid so she questions Joey about her "date". Cupid continues to tease Joey which causes her to get angrier and walking off, leaving Portia confuzzled as to who else Joey was talking to.

Later on, Joey wonders why the gym isn't as packed as normal. On cue, Jonard enters and announces that the new gym is finally open. He hands them flyers advertising the new facility which he found in front of Joey's gym.

In anger, Joey storms into the new gym and demands to speak to the owner. She sees Kris walking with Rico. Joey accuses Kris of being a traitor. While this mess was unravelling, Migs comes out of the lobby. Joey realizes that he is the owner of this new gym so she attacks him. Migs grabs her shoulders in an attempt to explain his side. The close proximity to Migs causes Joey to feel that undeniable chemistry she has with Migs.

Miss Match Episode Guide 1

The episode opens with a wedding scene. Maria Joanna Martinez a.k.a. Joey (Jennylyn Mercado) is getting married to Jim David in front of her family and friends including her bffs Portia (Katrina Halili)and Kris, and cousin Jonard (Dion Ignacio). When it was Jim's turn to say "I do", he nervously tells Joey that he isn't ready to get married yet (in a very unbelievable manner), leaving Joey dumbfounded at the altar. Her friends rush to her side while saying her name in concern.

We, then, see Joey at a gym, hitting a punching bag vigorously while her friends are again saying her name in concern. Kris tells her that she is probably hitting the punching bag so hard because she is imagining Jim's face while she is doing it. Portia interrupts and tells Kris not to say bad words. This causes Kris to say that several years have passed, and he has had five relationships already while Portia has already broken up with her one and only ex, and has had 2 disastrous flings. So, he assumes that Joey has already moved on from her almost-wedding with Jim.

Joey informs the two that she is over Jim, and men, in general. Portia tells her that she is just saying that now but when she meets the right guy, she won't be able to stop her heart from beating. Kris that Portia has a point, and scolds Joey that she is wasting her beauty by being a man-hater. He adds that he has met a cute, single, and straight guy that he wants to introduce to Joey. Joey passes up the opportunity by saying that she has no time for dates because she's busy with her gym business, but Portia readily agrees to meet the guy. Kris tells Portia that the guy wouldn't be interested in her because she only attracts losers. Joey interrupts them and orders Kris to man the lobby because their receptionist is taking a half-day. She also tells Portia and Joey not to let any males come inside the gym because it is a girls-only facility. Kris responds by saying that Joey would gain more profits if the gym turns co-ed, and she just might meet her "perfect match". Joey rolls her eyes and knowingly says that there is no such thing as a "perfect match".

Next, we see a digitally-rendered cupid (who I must admit is cute but has a voice that sounds like long fingernails being raked through a chalkboard) nosing around a park looking for his next victims,and talking to himself. He decides on Carmita, a librarian and Fernando, a businessman. He causes the two strangers to bump into each other. At first, they argue. But after being hit by Cupid, they turn nauseatingly sweet towards one another (galing ni fingernails-on-chalkboard Cupid!).

A passerby sits beside Joey and tries to pick her up with a lame "Haven't I seen you in my dreams before" pick-up line. Joey, being the man-hater that she is, turns him down and tells him to stuff it. At the same time, Cupid, feeling proud of his recent hook-up, moves on to his next victims: Juliet, a boy-crazy gal and Romeo, a shy guy. Cupid turns himself into a purse snatcher, and quickly snags Juliet's handbag and handing it to Romeo. Joey runs after Cupid/Purse-Snatcher, and sees him giving the bag to Romeo. She accuses Romeo of being in cahoots with Cupid/Purse-Snatcher, and turns him into the police. Juliet hits Romeo with her bag and thanks Joey for helping her. Cupi/Purse-Snatcher transforms back into CGI Cupid and returns to conversing with himself. He blames Joey for the surprising turn of events and his broken cross bow, so he decides to teach her a lesson.

A day later (I think...haha), we see Joey at her gym waving goodbye to her clients while decorating the Christmas tree. A guy (Jake Cuenca) enters the room and asks Joey if he can ask her a question. Joey ansers her in her usual snobby manner, and continues hanging ornaments on the tree. She accidentally falls while standing on a sofa and the guy catches her effortlessly (hihihi...kilig). He asks Joey if she's okay. Joey can't seem to find the right words to answer him so she just swags her feet indicating that she wants tobe let down. Just as hewas putting her down, Portia and Kris walks in on them. Joey explains to them what happened, but the two seem not to believe her. The guy introduces himself as Migs to Joey. In turn, Kris introduces himself and informs him that he's single and gay (right...like he couldn't tell). He also introduces Joey as being the owner of the gym and single, and Portia. Portia walks to Migs and flirtatiously shakes his hand. And she also informs him about her single status. Portia asks Migs if he's single himself. He says yes (looking at Joey while doing so). He tells them he's new to the area and wants to inquire about the membership fees. Kris quickly hands him a brochure and tells him that it's cheap, and Portia advertises their tae-bo & yoga classes in an effort to convince him to sign up. Joey interrupts them by telling Migs that they only accept females and she-males. Migs thanks them and apologizes if he disturbed them.

When Migs left, Kris grills Joey with questions about what she felt when he caught her from her fall. He also tells Joey that they have chemistry together.

Later on in Joey's dining room, Joey asks Portia who she's texting. Portia blissfully tells her that she calls him her "mystery texter". Her "mystery texter" is apparently very romantic, always texting her even if they're just forwarded messages. However, he hasn't introduced himself to her yet (duh...kaya nga mystery texter!). Joey states that she's just wasting her load. Portia disagrees because her "mystery texter" could very well be her dream guy. Jonard enters the room and says that Portia is her dream guy's nightmare girl. The two continue to argue, and Portia asks Joey why she didn't tell her that her jologs cousin is coming over. Joey defends herself and says that she doesn't know why he's there. The word war between Portia and Jonard continues, and it is revealed that Jonard and Portia used to be an item. Joey stops the situation from getting worse. Afterwards, Jonard discloses to Joey that there is a new, bigger gym opening nearby. This is news to Joey. She concludes that since the gym is bigger, the membership is probably more expensive, too. But Jonard concedes that it also means they have more equipment, so he advises Joey to give her clients more incentive to stay with her.

The next morning, we see fingernails-on-chalkboard-Cupid hovering around Joey while she's sleeping. Joey wakes up and asks F-o-C-Cupid who he is and what he's doing inside her room. He asks her if she doesn't recognize him because of her outfit. Joey tries to convince herself she is just dreaming. She succeeds for a few seconds but F-o-C-Cupid appears once again. She screams and calls him a ghost. F-o-C-Cupid informs her that because of she broke his crossbow, she has to now help him make love matches. She refuses and says she has no time. While the two are talking, Kris walks in and wonders why Joey is talking to herself. She looks at him increduosly and says she isn't talking to herself, she's talking to F-o-C-Cupid. F-o-C-Cupid mischievously shares that Kris can't see him, only Joey. She gets angry and orders him to show himself to Kris. Kris concludes that she's probably hallucinating because of hunger. Kris advises her to take a day-off because he thinks she's stressed out.

At the gym, Migs drops by accompanied by a male friend. He says hi to Portia and introduces his friend Rico to her. Portia turns on the charm to Rico, and informs him that she's single. Migs asks where Joey is. This irritates Portia so she tells Migs that she's not here. While they are leaving, Rico asks if Joey is the owner of the gym. Migs nods. Rico warns Migs about the implications of liking Joey.

At the same time, Joey is having problems with F-o-C-Cupid because she refuses to help him. He tells her that there are consequences to her refusal. Joey angrily pulls down his diapers. When Joey leaves, he maniacally talks to himself again and plots to get back at Joey. The next morning, Joey wakes up and goes to her bathroom. She screams when she sees that she has grown a mustache overnight. She checks to see if she has also become a man overnight. She screams again when her fears were confirmed.
